It took 30 bottles of champagne , and when she was finished , i thought , well , it's a shame to just pull the plug and waste it , so i put it back into the bottles.

Strange thing though , when i put it back into the bottles , i ended up with 31 bottles of champagne.............. where did the extra one come from i wonder???

Bath. I have one every night. One day my hubby and I were away on holidays and spent most of the day in the spa in our room and then the roman bath area on the property. We ended up looking like drowned rats - but god it was good.

It depends on the situation or mood.

If I'm hung over or have a headache or just wanna relax then I'll sit in the tub for about an hour. Especially when its cold .

Other then that I take about a 15 minute shower. I hate it when the hot water runs out though.

When I bought this house I had the bathtub removed from the master bathroom and replaced with a tiled walk in shower stall.
Shower because it's way easier and quicker compared to having to take a bath.

I have recently started making the time to take a bath every morning rather than shower. I get up early enough that I can take my time and soak and enjoy it.

I have a bath-shower tub. So, what I do is run water up to about half way, then, I unplug the drain, and turn on the shower. They're called Bowers.
WELL I DO BOTH EVERY DAY SOAK IN A BATH FOR AN HOUR IN THE HOT BATH AND THEN TKE A HOT STEAMING SHOWER AFTER ITS SO REFRESHING AND REJUVINATING

I bought a whirlpool tub, then realized I could not get out of it, without help.

It took me 4 years to figure out I could buy a tub lift.

No, I hate the cold shampoo. I would put the bottle in the water and warm it up.
I never have that problem because I always let the hot water run on the bottle of shampoo for a little while before I put it on my head.

I take baths only because my house has only 20 minutes of hot water. so what I do is all of the washing part and shaving and etc.. then when the water is hot again, I shower and rinse off and feel clean again.

if you had to pick:P Some say only showers because you lay in your own filth in the bathtub, and others say baths are more relaxing.. What do you like best? Easy 10 points:PSurvey...Bath or Shower?
I'd pick shower, because i don't know what to do sitting in a bathtub. since it doesnt feel exactly right washing myself in a bathtub mixed with shampoo and soap...it wouldnt make me feel clean enough and it does make me feel like im laying in my own filth.

i do have to admit that it is relaxing lying in a bathtub. but only with bubble bath soap and clear water.Survey...Bath or Shower?
Shower. I do my best thinking in the shower for some reason. I find showering the most relaxing part of my day. And its easier to wash my hair in the shower than in a bathtub. Baths always are boring.

i'd only take one if i'd already taken a shower (so i'd take it for relaxation, not cleaning myself) so then i wouldn't be sitting in dirt. but i very rarely take baths. maybe if i was at a spa, and had fancy bubble bath and aromatherapy candles....and after i'd taken a shower of course. maybe i'd even take one of those mud baths that they have at spas! or maybe not, they sound a little gross lol

Both...I have a shower every week day morning before I go out because it's fast (haha, I'm NOT a morning person...very nocturnal, so the later I can wait to get ready the better), but on weekends, when i get home from work, I like to have a sudsy bath with some music and candles...relaxing!!! Lol, plus, I work with horses, so I have a very strong odor when I get home, and a bath knocks it right off!

It depends. A bath is great for relaxing in - loads of hot water filled right to the top and some bath salts mixed in. The problem with a bath is that you're lying in all the dirt and soap scum, it also uses more water and energy than a shower.

Showers are great for getting clean quickly and particularly a power shower with massage mode.

Best of all I guess - a long hot bath followed by a nice refreshing shower and then after that 2 pizzas, 1 bottle of wine, 1 open fire, 1 movie and 1 girlfriend.

Is it the same water?? As when we have a bath myself my partner and child get itchy legs but if we have showers we dont itch we have all came out in red spots. I have tried cleaning the bath with different products but its still the same so we have stopped having baths for the moment til these spots clear up.Bath water/shower water?
Your bath water is feed with cold water from your mains water and your hot water is feed from your emersion heater tank if heated by electric. Some house's dont have emersion heated tanks for hot water but rely on a back boiler which is heated by a solid fual fire . If there is a problem with your bath water it has to be through your hot water supply ( hot tank ), so i would be inclined to have this checked out first .if the water is being heated by back boiler it could be this supply that is contaminating your hot water . also check out the (header tank in loft ) which tops up emersion heater tank , this water could be contaminated by something in the tank , fungi dead rodent ect. HOPE THIS HELPS GOOD LOOK

P.S If it is your hot water supply from e/tank you should have the same effect using the water from your downstairs hot water supply ?Bath water/shower water?

No, in most houses they are different water tanks/sources. You need to get both tanks seen to becuase they most contain a substance you are allergic to.

Electric showers are fed by pure water straight from the mains.Your bath water is normally via a hot water tank or boiler.
maybe it is the soap and not rinsing properly whilst bathing , a showerwill rinse easier, try changing to a non perfume soap and also moisturing lotion

it sounds to me that when you bathe, you're not getting a proper rinse. soap scum could still be on your skin. in a shower, the soap would just rinse off.

i suggest using the shower for cleaning and the bath for relaxing. Don't use the bath for cleaning yourself - or if you do, make sure you use clean water to rinse the soap off your skin.

I think sometimes the heat of the water you are bathing in can be really drying to your skin..

Dry = Itch! Soak in the lotions!

p.s. coconut oil is the single best after shower or bath skin fixer upper I've ever tried. works like magic..doesn't leave oil gunk on your skin!

I would say a shower is better, you dont sit in the dirt you are washing off of your body. That is just how i look at it.
Shower is more hygienic, also more refreshing to wake you up, hot foamy baths are better for relaxing.
I have a shower head fixed to the bath , so I can in fact have the best of both worlds, a shower wins it for me though.

Used to be baths, but as I got older, showers are easier. And morning is better for me. Makes me feel more energetic, so bedtime would be a bad time.

Ever since I was a really young child I've preferred showers over baths and had to fight with my parents to allow me to take one rather than a bath.

Just think of all that skin and hair and those tiny microscopic bugs, oh and all that soap residue lingering on your skin and the dirt and grime and grease and natural oils that are floating around in the tub and then when you get out of the tub it sticks to your skin and the soap dries onto your skin and...disgusting!!! If you do have a bath (without having a shower before hand, shower after). Or Hey! Shower before and after!!!

TRICKY.

showers are more easy you just stand there. Some people sit in the shower but thats kind of weird.

Baths however are more of an effort but they are completely amazing once your in. You have to run the water, wait, and getting out is so forceful because you want to stay but you know you can't. AND you have to somehow get all the foam off. AND the water is dirty by the end. AND if your a girl its harder to wash your hair in the bath.

For time and convenience a shower, each Friday which is a 'My Time' day i have a bath, and i admit i have bubbles, lots of them and it is glorious. I have even after a while refilled the bath and added more bubbles, ok, it's my day so i am alowed. LOL. Good luck.

If the shower is the normal electric one that heats the water from cold then these are normally 6KW. A normal immersion heater is 3 KW. Therefore the shower will consume double the electricity.Which uses more electric bath heater or shower, 20mins?
i can't stand baths bathing in your own dirt is not nice and they take ages to fill up you can't wash your hair propley you get my drift where as showers its clean water going onto you and easy to wash hair and no waiting around for anything to fill up just push the button and way hey
A 20 minute shower is a really long one. Its all about Kilowatts though. a typical shower like yours is 9.5 KW, so that is about 3 KWH for a 20 minute shower. If the water heater is less than 9.5 KW then it wont use as much.
The water heater would use more electricity if you were heating it up from cold, especially if you needed enough water to fill a bath.
Bit of a trick question, not even my wife could possibly spend twenty minutes in the shower!
